I did it. I broke an arrow with my neck!

In May, I went to a weekend long seminar here in Los Angeles designed to help build create powerful, wealth-building blueprints and breakthrough personal barriers. I found the seminar enlightening and fun. At the end, we did an exercise where we broke arrows with our necks.

You should have seen the looks on the faces in the room – confusion, fear, uncertainty. It was a classic case of mental chatter attacking. We were all given the choice to leave the room if we didn’t want to participate. I thought about leaving but decided to stay.

To make a long story short, I broke the arrow. One person stood with his hand at the end of the arrow, while I stood with the pointed in piercing my neck. I walked into the arrow deliberately and SNAP! It broke into 3 pieces that flew everywhere. And I felt AMAZING!

I felt so amazing and invincible that I slept with my broken arrow that night. On the arrow, I wrote a limiting belief that I had and the process of breaking the arrow symbolized me breaking free from the belief. Now I have the broken arrow taped to my wall to remind me that I’m powerful and amazing, and I can do anything I put my mind to.

This week, I want YOU to find your broken arrow. What odds have you overcome? What incredible feats have you accomplished? If you spent time thinking about it, I’m sure you’d be able to come up with a laundry list of amazing achievements. When you’re at your lowest and your mind begins to doubt your abilities, you need your “broken arrows” to remind you just how powerful you really are.

Whenever I face a situation that is intimidating, I think about my broken arrow and then I reflect on other challenges I’ve faced and sailed past. I immediately feel a surge of confidence and faith, and I begin to take focused action to help me get great results.

What is your broken arrow? Find it, tape it to the wall if you need to, and never forget that you are more than enough, you are powerful, and you can do anything you put your mind to!
