Queen Latifah and Jill Scott are set to star in the film along with actress Betsy Brandy of CBS's "Life in Pieces" and "Sneaky Pete" actress Marin Ireland, according to Deadline.com .
Bruce Beresford will direct the production, with Barbara Stepansky writing a script based on a Time Magazine story. Production on the film is set to begin next week in Toronto.
Queen Latifah, is also serving as an executive producer along with Craig Zadan, Neil Meron and Katie Couric.
